This five day course provides students with poise and confidence, and an introduction to important life skills. Parents are invited to join us for tea and see the final Show on Friday afternoon.

11.15 - Current Affairs – looking at the way different media portrays the world around us
12.00 - Photography – how to frame pictures and look good in front of the lens
1.00 - LUNCH – table manners & table setting
2.00 - Public Speaking – how to prepare a talk and deliver it with confidence and panache. Part 1 - preparation
3.00 - Croquet - a game every young lady should play!
4.00 - TEA
4.30 - Interior Design – make the most of your own space
5.30 - BREAK

TUESDAY

9.30 - Flower Arranging – an introduction to simple, stylish arrangements
10.30 - Cookery – interesting and appetizing first courses
12.30 - Etiquette – learning what to do and how to behave in different social situations
1.00 - LUNCH - conversation. How to talk to, and make the most of, people you meet at a lunch or dinner
2.00 - Nutrition – eating for health, beauty, energy and fitness
3.00 Deportment – learn to sit, stand and walk with poise and confidence
4.00 - TEA
4.30 - First Aid – how to make the casualty comfortable while waiting for the emergency services
